Cella Inc Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist in Beaverton, Oregon

Location: Beaverton, OregonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $34 - 35 per hourWe're looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for planning events, communications, and building meaningful employee experiences. This position will support the delivery of communications, engagements, and team enablement for SEC's stakeholders and teammates.The Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist role will be part of the Communications, Engagement and Enablement Team within the Transformational Change Office and will drive internal communications, event planning, and storytelling efforts to facilitate unlocking the full potential of the team working on largest digital transformation. This role will partner with other SEC team members to evolve how we engage the SEC teammates as we operate in a global environment while keeping the employee experience at the center of all we do.Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) is a reinvention of business. The SEC team will drive end-to-end integration across hundreds of business processes, using a flexible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that supports the retail experience of the future.The ideal candidate needs to be a strong communicator, project manager, and creative problem-solver.Responsibilities:

If this is you, you'll contribute to the execution of an enablement strategy focused on unlocking the full potential of the global SEC team.

You will also support the work of the Comms and Engagement team and their deliverables.

Specific Elements include :

Plan and manage employee engagement initiatives in support of SEC program leadership including: monthly Connect meetings, quarterly All Team meetings, monthly employee newsletter, and other program events as needed.

Support SEC Critical Contributor experience, including onboarding and ways of working.

Design and manage knowledge portal for SEC program teams.

Collaborate closely with other teams, such as testing, deployment, etc. to support events.

Manage program distribution lists for events and communications.

Periodic support of Program communications, meetings, and events for SEC stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

Work closely with the SEC Learning, Comms, and Engagement Director on developing and delivering the plan for SEC employee engagement.

Support content creation (written communications and audio-visual content) against the strategic narrative for the SEC program's people and culture strategy across various channels.

Draft key communications, build presentation decks, and work with relevant groups on the event space setup and branding.

Reservation of rooms, sending Outlook invitations, arranging for event hospitality + AV, ZOOM ownership for program meetings and events.

Leverage team health data and insight to help guide the employee engagement strategy and plans: administer the Pulse Check survey, summarize and socialize the outcomes, facilitate building an action plan against the priority areas and drive its adoption.

Partner closely with the SEC Transformational Office on developing key messages to ensure alignment between the program's external and internal communications.

Build strong partnerships across the SEC program and serve as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, marketing, design, psychology, business, event management, or related field.

4+ years of professional experience in communications, HR, business, marketing, or related field supporting global organizations.

Excellent writing, strategic planning, and project management skills.

Experience planning and organizing events for diverse audiences (virtual and in-person).

Proficiency with Microsoft Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms), SharePoint, and video editing software. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Campaign Monitor preferred.

Flexibility, creative problem solving, and high level of tolerance for ambiguity.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, and highly multi-functional organization.

Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.

Previous exp is a PLUS.
