Global Business Consultants Bookkeeper - Remote in Beachwood, Ohio
Overview:
Global Business Consultants is a business management consulting firm, specializing in turnaround and improvement consulting. As part of our service, we assist business owners with bookkeeping services. Therefore, we are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Bookkeeper to work on a contract 1099 basis. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a remote work environment and has a strong background in bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and providing accurate financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Keep accurate records of financial transactions and post them in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and track deposits and payments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Ad-hoc Financial Tasks: Perform other finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a preference for those familiar with remote work.
- Skills:
- Proficient in remote work tools and cloud-based accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certifications: Any bookkeeping certification is advantageous, but not required.
