This is an Engineering Technician III position with a company in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi

Summary: Woolpert is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician III to join our team. A Level 3 Technician is responsible for advanced technical tasks, including complex fabrication, assembly, and full system testing. This role requires specialized expertise and the ability to work independently on sophisticated projects.

Duties & Responsibilities: Perform advanced fabrication and assembly tasks for electronic, optical, and thermal systems.

 Conduct detailed testing and troubleshooting of electronic, optical, and thermal components and systems.

 Develop and follow detailed procedures for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of systems.

 Collaborate with engineers to design and implement testing protocols and procedures.

 Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance.

 Maintain and manage inventory of components and materials.

 Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members.

 Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications[]{#Hlk142289191}[]{#Hlk142304825}: An associate's degree or apprenticeship in a related field, or must have High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. 3-5 years of electrical, optical, thermal, general systems experience Preferred.

 Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools for electronic, optical, and thermal systems.

 Strong understanding of procedures and protocols for system assembly and testing.

 Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings and schematics.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 Relevant certifications or technical training in electronics, optics, or thermal systems is preferred.
