Robert Half Tax Administrative Assistant in Bay City, Michigan

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Season Administrative Assistant in the banking industry, based in Bay City, Michigan. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Tax Department with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handling inbound calls and responding to customer inquiries

• Assisting with income tax preparation processes

• Accurately scanning and organizing tax paperwork

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to maintain and update records

• Undertaking any additional tasks as required to support the department's operations.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant role, prior Tax or CPA office experience is ideal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

• Skills in scanning and document management are required.

• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service is a must.

• Knowledge of income tax preparation is a significant advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• The candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.

• High level of discretion and confidentiality is expected.
