As a Human Resource Specialist, your focus within the Human Resource department will be on employee communications and learning coordination while building your knowledge and skills across broader human resource areas. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, a desire to learn, interest in being part of a collaborative effort, and supports the overall delivery of a great employee experience. This position s responsibilities will be completing or assisting various human resource tasks which include, but are not limited to: General: Facilitate creation and updating of job descriptions. Monitor the job description library for periodic review. HR Software administration serving as primary for employee user assistance and approvals. Monitoring and disseminating inquiries submitted into the general human resources email. Assist HR staff in the execution of initiatives and with guiding employees on policies and procedures. Communication: Coordinate the creation and distribution of HR news to staff. Manage content on the HR internal community page. Work with Marketing department on the creation of videos for human resources. Coordinate content materials for recruitment activities. Learning: Assigning and assisting employees in utilizing the learning management system to achieve their career path needs. Ensure training records are maintained and progress reports are distributed. Assist with group training logistics including scheduling, participate communication and conducting course evaluations. To be considered for this position, you ll need to meet the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor s degree in human resources, communications, training, or related area of study. Minimum 2 years of human resource experience performing related work. Proven, well-developed communication skills; oral and writing. Strong customer service focus and people skills. Ability to teach software use. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a diverse, multi-office environment with individuals at all levels of the organization. Initiative-taker and results driven. Process improvement mindset. Desire to learn and grow human resource responsibilities. Collaborative work style. Willingness and ability to work extended hours as needed. Willingness and ability to travel with overnight stays as needed.
