Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The maintenance technician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout the facility. This person will monitor, repair, and adjust/edit various manufacturing equipment and systems including hydraulic thermoforming presses, ovens, robotic waterjets, 3 phase motors, and Siemens PLCs & HMIs. This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance role that will consist of mechanical, electrical, and controls work. The technician will also be responsible for plugging into a laptop and troubleshooting programs and drives. While PLC programming is not required, it is a plus. This facility manufactures sound deadening interior parts for the automotive industry and operates in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
Our Client manufactures interior sound deadening material for the automotive industry in a fast-paced and deadline-sensitive culture. The plant is approximately 300,000 sq. ft. in size. Currently, 40% of their work is with Chrysler, with the rest split between various tiered suppliers and auto manufacturers. Employees are expected to work 50 hours a week, including most Saturdays until fully staffed. Some Sundays may be required, with double time pay available. Available shifts are: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday), 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday).
