Intermountain Health Technical Implementation Engineer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Job Description:
As a Technical Implementation Engineer – Sr. at Intermountain Health, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of projects and operational activities within a designated Technology program area. This role requires a deep understanding of IT (Information Technology) processes, project management and stakeholder engagement. The Technical Implementation Engineer – Sr. will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable Technology and Technology Infrastructure enhancements and innovation through technology solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals and high reliability technology environments in support of our mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning skills, project management expertise, and the ability to align cross functional teams to shared goals including planning, analyze, and implement technical activities of complex projects for centralized applications and technology solutions including technology Infrastructure.
Relationship management: Build relationships with your stakeholders.
Change management: Facilitate change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of innovative technologies and processes.
Collaboration & communication: Engage with stakeholders to ensure service quality. Prepare and deliver effective presentations, documentation, and communications.
Program & project management: Manage ongoing success and program maturity. Function as project lead within key program initiatives
Coordinates the design and technical activities across multiple teams for enterprise, regional, large and small projects. Identifies, documents, and develops project intake requirements
Project Management to include planning and execution support
Assist with overall technical design concepts and testing to ensure features and performance meet standards
Assists in the triage process of incoming projects by determining technical complexity and risk. Ensures resource requests, purchases and installation follow internal technical procedures and policies
Coordinates the technical activities across multiple teams identifying opportunities to develop or improve standard processes and documentation. Ensures policies and procedures are in place to support and maintain equipment, computing infrastructure, and applications
Coordinates with teams involved to implement a responsibility matrix prior to equipment, computing infrastructure, and applications going live
Works with Infrastructure and Operations teams to maintain and coordinate physical infrastructure including LV cabling in; CPOP, MPOP, IDF and entrance facilities and maintain Div27 specs within our facilities
Assists with network/voice circuits on behalf of DTS and our service providers to ensure entrance facilities and circuits meet the need of facilities and our high reliability organization.
Provides IT/LV RFP and quotes (ROMs) for IMH projects to ensure DTS labor, hardware and support is accounted for in capital and operational budgets and identifies risk to budget, timelines, and systems.

May be required to run project go lives outside of normal business hours
This role is primarily a remote position, staff may be required at company headquarters and/or at a clinical site
A Personal Mobile device such as a mobile phone is required for this role for communications, i.e. voice or text.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Health Care Project Management, or another computer-related field. A degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified. At least 3 years of related experience including project management responsibilities.
- Or –
At least three (3+) years of related experience in Information Technology, Health Care Program/Project Management, or project/program management responsibilities.
Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Comfortable with ambiguity, navigating logistical obstacles, and demanding work environments.
Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, assign project work, set priorities, and review completion of tasks and quality of deliverables.
Able to work independently and manage projects requiring cross-functional resources.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to coordinate and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with close deadlines and ever-shifting priorities.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity’s role, data analytics, and emerging trends.
Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
What is preferred
PMP or similar certification and experience preferred, e.g., Google PM (Project Manager)
Three (3+) years of progressively responsible experience in technical area which should include experience in technical project management for large scale implementations

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$48.27 - $76.00
