Job Description

Oracle’s Restaurant Business Unit offers a full suite of restaurant technology solutions, including mobile order and pay, online ordering, POS, end-to-end payment processing, and restaurant analytics to enable customers deliver better business performance and exceptional customer experiences.

As a Senior Engineer on the Digital Platform team, you will be working on B2B2C products that support a wide range of transaction processing in a cloud native environment. You will also be working on the Point Of Sale (POS) products supporting food ordering on various Oracle | MICROS POS devices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong full stack technical skillset and have experience with frontend development, ASP.NET & .NET Core and public cloud providers.Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a member of the software engineering team, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications related to Oracle’s Food and Beverage business unit.

Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional, hands-on, full stack development experience on a public cloud provider.

  • Strong REST API design skills.

  • Proficient in front end technologies like HTML5/CSS, Javascript/Typescript.

  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET & .NET Core.

  • Experience building, testing and debugging cross browser/cross platform web applications.

  • Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and Oracle APEX is a plus

  • Experience developing Microservices architectures and Restful web services

  • Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules.

  • Linux experience a plus (Oracle Linux or Red Hat Enterprise Linux based distributions).

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker / Containers

  • Knowledge of Redis will be a plus.

  • Strong communication and personal skills; ability to interact and work well with geographically distributed team members of varying functional expertise in a team atmosphere.

  • Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment and working closely with product and design teams.

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
