Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Orange, TX area . This is a first & second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $31-33/hour based on experience plus $80/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
Identify all tools required for tasks
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications
Install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans and applicable specifications
Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems
Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment
Requirements
Must pass drug screen, and background check
All Industrial Pipefitter tools
All PPE, and steel toed boots
