The Tier 1 Leader, People & Culture Shared Services – Americas will assist in the design and stand-up of the Americas People & Culture Shared Services organization across North and South America. As the first point of contact and trusted operational partner for employees, this team will oversee a broad range of HR services, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery that enhances the employee experience.

This role involves managing a team of Tier 1 Shared Services team members, optimizing processes, and enhancing the employee experience through effective service delivery. Collaborating with the Leader, People & Culture Shared Services - Americas, this role will align OpCo P&C operations with global strategies while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will foster an environment that supports employee growth, career development, and the evolving needs of the global workforce, helping our people thrive through exceptional service and operational excellence.

What you will do

• You will train, lead, develop, and back up the Tier 1 team, responsible for superior case management execution across North and South America. This includes process and policy interpretation, employee lifecycle data management, HR program administration, and talent acquisition support, then expanding over time.

• You will act as a key point of contact for escalations, providing solutions to complex HR issues that require cross-functional coordination. Using outcomes to enhance Tier 1 tools, establishing best practices and standard work.

• Collaborate with Tier 2 and business partners to align service delivery with organizational goals. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and use Vontier Business Systems (VBS) tools to execute on process improvements.

• You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies across the Americas region.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or commensurate experience.

• 5+ years of experience in People & Culture, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and compliance requirements.

• Highly collaborative, approachable and customer focused.

• Fluent in English

• Strong project management skills, with experience in process design and implementation.

• Proficiency in HR technology systems and a strong understanding of automation in HR processes.

• Multilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese)

What’s in it For You

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
