Job Description
At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
At least 3 years’ experience working within a system of systems and/or performing system interface work.
At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement
Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment
Oracle Health/Cerner HIE experience strongly preferred
Health Information Exchange (HIE) industry experience (Commonwell, Carequality, eHealthexchange, etc.) strongly preferred
Two+ years’ experience with SQL (SQL Developer tool preferred)
Two+ years’ experience with Linux
Two+ years’ experience with XML, JSON, JVM
Experience building/supporting HL7 web interfaces
Healthcare industry knowledge strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of large systems architecture and relationships between network, applications, Database, and Interfaces.
Experience performing triage and troubleshooting from system logs.
Experience with JSON files and web interfaces
Oracle Health/Cerner Foreign System Interface (FSI) experience a large plus
One year experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) preferred
Career Level - IC3
Responsibilities
Serve as engineer on Oracle health information exchange (HIE) projects, installing enhancements, code patches, and upgrades to application as suggested by developers and client.
Provide tier 3 troubleshooting and issue resolution
Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting
Manage changes and project activities and communicate with impacted engineers, project managers, vendors, etc.
Monitor project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance
Implement enhancements to align to project scope
Drive testing strategies with solution teams
Lead design and specification review sessions
Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
May act as the team lead on projects.

US: Hiring Range: from $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
