About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Programs Sr. Manager for Producer Investments, you will manage the strategic producer recruiting & retention lifecycle and oversee a team responsible for pipeline maintenance, underwriting and business case governance.

This job is part of the Advisory Operations & Strategy team which partners with senior leadership to implement short- and long-term strategic plans, working across business lines and geographies to drive process & program innovations, execute transformation initiatives and enhance strategic governance.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.

  • Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Direct a central team of subject matter experts in preparing underwriting models, consulting on incentive strategies, and advising on best practices.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust producer pipeline. Partner with stakeholders to prioritize strategic gaps and align recruitment efforts accordingly.

  • Manage the evaluation and approval of business cases and underwriting models, ensuring they meet strategic and financial criteria in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the producer investment strategy mitigates risks and supports business growth.

  • Partner with senior leadership to manage to annual and long-term plans for capital deployment. Drive accountability for achieving milestones, annual targets and pipeline conversion.

  • Produce effective progress reports and communication mechanisms to keep management appraised. Promote transparency and collaboration across all relevant stakeholders.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.

  • Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Manager position is $120,000 per year and the maximum salary for the Sr Manager position is $145,000.00 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
