Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Adjunct Instructor – Ceramics (ARTS), (face-2-face) located in the Division of Liberal Arts. This is a part-time position and is open for recruitment.
REPORTS TO :
Fine Arts, Communication, and Social Sciences Department Chair
LOCATIONS :
Mid-City campus
COMPENSATION:
Salary: $2,500 per 3-hour credit course taught
Estimated Hours per Week: Fall/Spring/Summer
Dates/Times – Day and evening classes; various times available

Required Education :
Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) with a concentration in ceramics or master’s degree in art with a concentration in ceramics, or any master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in ceramics.
Job Concepts
Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
