The Facilities Assistant Manager will assist the Facilities Officer with the efficient and effective operations of the facilities department to foster environments that promote productivity and well-being throughout all Bath Savings properties. The Assistant Manager will organize daily activities, ensure schedules / objectives are met, maintain and improve the standard operating procedures. It is crucial the candidate interacts professionally and develops positive relationships with bank staff, contractors, and vendors by learning and responding to their needs and requests.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with building systems and maintenance procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Some technical knowledge or experience with carpentry work and painting preferred but not required
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving, basic project management, customer service, vendor management, scheduling, and organizational abilities
