Job Summary

Responsible for the development and leadership of product variant strategy within the Joint Recon business. Management and development of the Variant Compliance process within Joint Recon. Responsible for providing E2E leadership where required on projects which overlap with multivariant inventory management processes and strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing the leadership in developing product variant strategies for Joint Recon working in collaboration with business partners in commercial, across the supply chain and other DPS businesses / DPS PLAN PMO.

  • Responsible for lifecycle and cost management of the DPS Joint Recon and Power tools multivariant portfolio with focus on generating process efficiency and decision-making processes for variant set-up / rationalization

  • Leadership and development of both Team and Process to support the creation and introduction of Variants (New codes) into the Supply Chain and Legacy Process’s in transition to Variant Process.

  • Leadership of a direct team of SMEs, responsible for setting G&Os, managing performance and career development of all team members.

  • Will be asked to provide leadership on specific projects and activities through time (such as elements of the MDR project). This will require the ability to lead and shape business responses to specific challenges and the ability to collaborate and influence across the E2E organisation.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • Third level qualification essential. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desirable.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Power Pivot / Power Point / BI / Analytics

  • Involvement in one or more significant compliance led supply chain projects

  • 5 year of relevant experience

  • QA mindset

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certification/licenses

  • Green Belt certification.

  • APICS certification

  • Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge of a Project Management methodology

  • Experienced ERP/Planning systems user

  • Use of CAPA (Quality systems)

  • Experience in document management
