We are seeking a Dietary Aide to work in a large LTC home in Barrie. Day and evening shifts are available. The shifts are typically 7am-3pm or 3pm-7pm. We are looking for casual staff that can pick up shifts as needed. Hours will vary from casual to full-time based on facility needs.
Job Benefits:
Competitive pay at $19-$20 **based on experience

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serve meals to residents
Communicate regularly with dietary supervisor and cooks about meals, leftovers, wastage, temperature, and any other concerns
Complete nourishment assignments as per menu and nourishment plans
Follow diets, meal plans, and serving sizes as directed by the registered dietician and/or the dietary supervisor
Adhere to resident's likes and dislikes list and communicate any changes to the registered dietician and dietary supervisor
Assist with basic food preparation
Practice safe food handling procedures, proper hand hygiene, and infection control procedures
All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Current Ontario Food Handler certificate
Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
Satisfactory professional references
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar LTC setting*
Computer literacy is a must
The ability to focus on multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
