Job Title: Associate Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Associate Maintenance Technician will focus on machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, and electrical systems. They will support and provide ongoing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment in their assigned plant areas once installations are complete.
Responsibilities
Oversee new equipment installation, setup, modification, and repair to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to OEM specifications.
Collaborate with outside contractors to resolve equipment issues, perform troubleshooting, and investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operations.
Inspect and check equipment for proper operating conditions, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, and maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts.
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems, including repair and rework to meet and maintain specifications and tolerances.
Essential Skills
Experience in Industrial Maintenance with an emphasis on electrical controls
Intermediate knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and vision controls
Intermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits and Motor Controls (VFD, Servo)
Fundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.
Ability to connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wires.
Ability to align, fit, and assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)
Industrial Maintenance Certificate, Journeyman Card, or Associates Degree in a related field

Work Environment
The BlueOvalSK facility is a new, clean, and climate-controlled construction focused on machine installations and setup of highly automated equipment. The maintenance team will support ongoing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment. The plant is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2025 and will run 24/7 on a 3-2-2 pattern with 12-hour shifts. Initially, the work schedule will be from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, transitioning to the 3-2-2 pattern on day-shift once the plant is functioning.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00
