Kelly Services Engineer Process Support I in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico

Coordinates and supports successful execution of assigned engineering projects involving cross functional disciplines and areas for implementation.

Responsibilities:

•Coordinates daily job tasks to execute project activities.

•Leads coordination meetings and highlights daily priorities to contractors.

•Conducts project walkdowns for mechanical and installation completion including area owner.

•Tracks closure of open punch list items as a result of mechanical and installation completion walkdowns for projects.

•Daily field presence to monitor the progress of project activities, review status of work completed during the period covered, including quality control.

•Ensures that all planned work is generally proceeding well and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and aligned to the overall project priorities and timeline

•Actively participate in weekly safety walkthroughs contributing observations to the program to improve project safety performance.

•Responsible for daily contractor staffing, safety permits, drawing review and cross discipline execution coordination.

•Builds relationships, with colleagues, customers, contractors, and vendors by understanding scopes of work, promoting common project goals and following through on commitments.

•Applies standard engineering principles and methodologies to interpret, draw conclusions and recommend solutions for problems considering a broad range of factors.

  4. Daily field presence to monitor the progress of project activities, review status of work completed during the period covered, including quality control.

  5. Ensures that all planned work is generally proceeding well and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and aligned to the overall project priorities and timeline.

  6. Active participation in the change review board process including, but not limited to the creation and maintenance of of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) , creation of CR’s and change control package for periodic review, CAPA’s (trackwise), Audit observations, FMEA, IRF and operations supporting documents.

  7. Review, edit and process changes to controlled documentation such as procedures, manufacturing record forms, certifications, etc. iin the electronic document management system.

Qualifications:

•Associates or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competence.

•Ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding, or skill and willingly absorb and comprehend Customer processes, policies, and methods.

•Works well with engineers and contractors in a collaborative, fast-paced goal-driven environment.

•Interacts well with diverse groups within engineering and cross functional teams and maintains strong working relationship with internal and external collaborators.

•Ability to recognize risks versus the relative gains associated with actions.
