What you will do in this role

As an Payroll Specialist on our team, you will:
Monitor and executes payroll processes to ensure consistent and accurate payroll in compliance with local payroll practices, authoritative controls, government regulations, statutory regulations, internal procedures and controls
Act as point of contact for team members and provide resolution on escalated operational or policy issues; identifies complex problem resolution that needs to be escalated to Payroll Manager
Contribute information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
Prepare pay by verifying time records; calculating and producing checks or electronic transfers; calculating and producing quarterly incentive bonuses
Provide guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own specialization.
Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.
Assist in global work and initiatives as needed

Are bilingual or proficient in Spanish and advanced in English
Have Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with 1 - 3 Years of Experience preferred
Have a sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships
Have strong attention to detail
Are a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, and have the ability to take initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Full time 39 hours/week temporary contract: Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:00
