What you will do in this role

As an Payroll Specialist on our team, you will:

• Monitor and executes payroll processes to ensure consistent and accurate payroll in compliance with local payroll practices, authoritative controls, government regulations, statutory regulations, internal procedures and controls

• Act as point of contact for team members and provide resolution on escalated operational or policy issues; identifies complex problem resolution that needs to be escalated to Payroll Manager

• Contribute information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.

• Prepare pay by verifying time records; calculating and producing checks or electronic transfers; calculating and producing quarterly incentive bonuses

• Provide guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own specialization.

• Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.

• Assist in global work and initiatives as needed

• Are bilingual or proficient in Spanish and advanced in English

• Have Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with 1 - 3 Years of Experience preferred

• Have a sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships

• Have strong attention to detail

• Are a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, and have the ability to take initiative

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Full time 39 hours/week temporary contract: Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:00
