As anAccount Manageryou will be responsible for a number of important Fine Fragrance accounts for the assigned sales budget set by the Regional Management,with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week.
You will be accountable for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing solid customer relationship, leading and coordinating IFF activities and promoting relevant IFF fragrance solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
This position is based inBarcelona, Spainand reports into the Spain sales direction.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external customers
Prepare account plan and report relevant market information
Achieve profitable sales growth with the customer
Ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported
Collaborate with internal departments to explore innovations and new concepts related to customers’ products and on-going projects
Monitor market development in terms of competitors, products, and trends
Partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply
Overall manage the relationships between the different functions from the customer and IFF
Provide (on time) all information necessary all matters relating to the service of the accounts. This includes:
Presentations to customer
Arranging customer visits/workshops
Keeping the customer up to date at all times
Responsible for the project pipeline and the accurate and timely use and maintenance of all information entered the project management system
Develop account plans for the most important accounts
Job Requirements
You have a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Business, Economy, Marketing or Chemistry
We will rely on your at least 5 years’ experience in sales, sales service, product development, or marketing in Fragrance Industry, preferably fine fragrance industry
Olfactive knowledge and skills in the Fine fragrance segment
You are fluent in business English, French and Spanish
To be the successful candidate, you need:
Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processes
Passion in fragrance with strong interests in product development, consumers, and market understanding
Strong negotiation skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
