About the Role The HRIS Analyst serves as an HR Technology subject matter expert for all HR functional areas and assists HR to identify, plan, implement and maintain systems and process improvements. This individual will be the primary subject matter expert for our HCM Core functions including business processes, reporting, and security, and will assist in other areas. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruiting, and Time Tracking modules. This role requires hands-on Workday experience and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that support our business needs and strategic goals. What You'll Do System Administration and Configuration: Manage and configure Workday HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Peakon modules to meet organizational requirements. Lead system testing around issue resolution, implementations of new HRIS products, and system improvements, tracking areas of concern or failure. Receives requests, evaluates issue and executes solutions. Prioritizes projects and requests, and partners appropriately. Includes but is not limited to security changes, organization changes, data changes, and audits. Support teams responsible for configuring the Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Learning modules. Implement enhancements, upgrades, and system improvements based on business needs. Maintain system security roles and permissions. Compile, load, and validate EIBs for data loads. Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, and Payroll teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements. Identifies areas of improvement, provides recommendations for streamlining, and supports testing and roll outs of new functionality. Design and maintain Workday workflows and business processes. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights to stakeholders. Creates, runs, and schedules reports to fulfill company reporting requirements, including generating executive dashboards as well as other data reports that are requested, including AAP and VETS-4212. Maintains custom reports, runs reports as requested, and conducts data audits monthly. Creates ad hoc reports for business groups as requested and in support of business needs. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and reconciliations. User Support and Training: Provide troubleshooting support for Workday-related issues and questions. Provides internal customers with information and tools, updates internal job aids as needed. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users. Compliance and Best Practices: Stay current with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to ensure the system is leveraged effectively. Partner with HR and IT to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies. About You: Must haves: Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 2+ years of hands-on configuration experience with Workday, specifically in HCM, Recruiting, and Time Tracking modules. Nice to haves:
