FirstService Residential Facility/Pool Monitor (Part-Time) in Banning, California

Job Overview:

Under direct supervision, monitors clubhouse area for residents who use the facilities for adherence to the rules and regulations regarding facility use. Assist in functions/duties relating to operation and maintenance of facilities. Reports directly to the Recreation Director who will arrange work schedule and oversee completion of projects

Compensation: $16.50-18.50/hour

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Job Responsibilities:

The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.

  • Enforce community pool rules
  • Readjust furniture as needed around the pool
  • Walk around and be present, interacting with members
  • Sets-up and tears down tables, chairs and equipment for meetings, events and activities following written or verbal direction, assists volunteers in decorating.
  • Monitors and maintains order in pool and spa areas, tennis courts and other rooms and amenities.
  • Informs residents of rules and regulations as needed.
  • Cleans areas of the clubhouses and exteriors including washing down outside of clubhouse facilities, straightening up interior of clubhouse, cleans paddle and tennis courts.
  • Performs light maintenance duties in the clubhouse facilities and refers larger maintenance items to the Recreation Director.
  • Conducts routine daily walkthroughs inspecting all clubhouse areas and correcting or reporting deficiencies.
  • Relieves clubhouse receptionist for breaks and meal times, assisting participants and visitors, answers telephones, directs calls and performs clerical duties as instructed.
  • Assists with special events as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have obtained a High School diploma

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

-Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

-Must be able to stand/move/sit for extended periods of time.

-Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

Hours over and above normal office hours will occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
