Expeditors Specialist –Customs Brokerage in Bangpli, Thailand

•    To supervise and develop the staff in handling customs brokerage service professionally, compliantly and in timely manner.

•    To ensure and educate staff for strictly following our company’s policies, procedures compliances and concernments. This is including Customs Department’s regulations in handling the shipment and customs formalities.

•    To Manage and control all import & export shipment (by sea, air and truck).

•    To be able to consult and check HS code for team and customer (if needs) and obtain confirmation of HS code with customers.

•    To be able to consult all import & export privileges with customers and related parties professionally and compliantly.

•    To be able to solve the problem of customs clearance. Also, being able to coach team to solve the problem and/or communication with customers and/or related parties.

•    To be able to check duty, VAT and any TAX refund.

•    To control all shipping agents, coaching team to discuss with customs officer to solve the problem compliantly.

•    To be able to coach team for completing customs declaration to Customs Department completely and accurately.

•    To monitor and evaluate E-Paperless system whether it is well maintain as per the Customs Department’s requirements.

•    To monitor and track the performance of customs clearance to meet company working procedures standard, KPIs and customer requirements.

•    To co-ordinate with pricing, sale and account management teams for relevant aspects in order to promote, bidding, transitioning and any rate inquiries.

•    To keep all concerned updated on any news from Customs Department or any relevant parties.

•    After receiving any complaints, making sure team is delivering the effective solution to customer as well as finding the opportunity to improve performance.

•    To be flexible on taking additional assignments to support Company need.

 

•    University degree in any field with at least 2 years experience in supervisory level.

•    5 years solid experience in customs brokerage of air or sea freight logistics.

•    Knowledge of customs formalities/clearance, cargo handling process and customs regulations. 

•    Ability to operate E-Paperless system.

•    Computer literacy and good Thai & English Typing Skills.

•    Good communication in English.

•    Possess good coordination skills, problem solving skills, negotiation skills and high accuracy.

•    Display ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

•    Certified Customs Specialist at least 3 years and/or Licensed Customs Broker.

•    Well-versed in Customs E-Paperless system.
