Commander, Navy Installations HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in Bangor, Washington

Responsibilities You will determine the adequacy of building services, furnishings, fixtures and schedule improvements. You will evaluate family housing program practices to recommend future program improvements. You will maintain automated database for statistical and historical information relating to family housing occupancy, utilization, and maintenance. You will discuss resident concerns to identify and resolve housing issues or problems. You will investigate housing facilities to resolve complex occupant concerns and complaints. You will create written documents to outline recommendations for modifications or alterations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Provide information via telephone, email and in person on a variety of subjects relating to housing for military personell;2) Ensure proper record keeping in the Housing Module of enterprise Military Housing (eMH);3) Monitor the assignment of tenants to quarters to ensure government housing is utilized appropriately;4) Prepare appropriate housing reports or documentation concerning occupancy, vacancy, placement or other related activities; and5) Counsel customers regarding the availability, type, and size of housing available NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
