GE Vernova Production Supervision Manager in Bangor, Maine

Job Description Summary

GE Vernova Bangor is seeking a B Shift (3:30 PM- 2:00AM M-Th) Production Supervision Manager for our Maine Avenue campus which specializes in welded fabrications, precision NC milling and turning, non-destructive testing, and flame spray coatings. The Production Supervision Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently and meet quality standards. The Production Supervision Manager plays a key role in meeting production goals, optimizing resources, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of front-line manufacturing employees. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands, including recruiting and training new employees.

  • Production Oversight: Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Analyze production data and report to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Culture, Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of supervisory experience).

  • 2 years leadership or supervisory experience.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $90,400.00 - 95,000.00 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
