Senior Specialist - S&OP

BASIC FUCTIONS

The primary function of this position is to provide data, analytics and reporting support to AP S&OP team, Director of AP Supply Chain as well as key AP market stakeholders (on needed basis). The job also includes data consolidation and aggregation for global submission. The position incumbent will be the key driver of data and reporting automation projects for supply chain in partnership with IT and other functional departments.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand forecast

• Assist S&OP managers with data provision and validation, such as shipment, orders, quotations, stock, supply etc.

• Master data maintenance such as product hierarchy, average value, discontinuation status, NPD-vitality status, E&O status etc.

• Demand related aggregation and analytics as required

Supply Chain KPIs

• LOTIF: by brand by market by plant by product category

• OFCT:by brand by market by plant by product category

• Unit Shipment: Monthly, YTD actuals and YOY comparisons, SKU level aggregated

• Safety Stock in stock rate

• SKU and long tail analysis, all AP markets all SKUs

• Forecast Accuracy

Supply planning and co-ordination:

• Owns supply planning and coordination for select product categories

• Select minor projects related to supply

Data, analytics and reporting

• Owns data validation and provisioning;

• Key driver of data and reporting automation projects

Inventory and E&O

• Partner with Finance to generate all inventory related dashboards and data, e.g. by market, by function, by sub-group, by top SKU views for both stock and E&O

• Be a key contributor in inventory and E&O management for AP region;

OEM related work: Purchase Info Record maintenance, contacting with OEMs and Finance to confirm the purchase prices

Global data submission and reporting

Reports to Manager – Supply Chain, K&B ASPAC

Internal partners (via the S&OP) include Manufacturing Plants, Marketing, Sales and NPD team.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate or above with minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role: Demanding planning, Inventory Control, Production Planning, Forecasting etc.

• Good English communication skills and high levels of proficiency in Excel, ERP and data tools like Power BI

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• High positive attitude and good communication skills.
