AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. The Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing AWS business and customers 24/7. We are committed to maintain the physical infrastructure of AWS, ensuring the standards for operational performance in the areas of safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.

Data Center Engineering Operation (DCEO) is seeking for individuals who are motivated, self-starter, eager to learn, passionate and committed to join us. You will spend 6 months on a specially structured program and by the end of it, your progression will be evaluated to see if you have what it takes to join our successful team and be a full time Amazonian.

Basic Qualifications

  • Electrical/Mechanical engineering related discipline and understanding fundamentals of Generators, UPS, Chillers

  • Interest in maintenance of a Data Centre or Critical space facility and eager to learn/Motivated/Self-starter

  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Building Services/Facilities Management/any related Engineering discipline

  • Data Center Engineering/Operations experience is nice to have but not mandatory

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written English
