Associate Director - Research and Analytics

Role and Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high quality and innovative data driven solution to our client’s needs. This will include, providing data solutions for client requirements, understanding the client’s challenges, designing and estimating a data solution, implementing the solution, ensuring it is of high quality, and leading and mentoring team member.

Responsibilities Include

• Fundamental understanding of advanced analytical practices – data preparation & wrangling, big data (structured, unstructured data) and data mining concepts

• Develop and monitor delivery of efficient and effective data solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

• Engage key business stakeholders to understand requirements and present convincing solutions

• Conduct architectural/design discussions with client data architects, integration architects and development teams to maximize overall opportunity.

• Expert level skills in leading program management efforts involving the coordination of resources and goals across multiple related projects.

• Development of Strategic Visions, Analytical/BI/Data Blueprints and realistic

• Play a role of solution leader who can play a bridge between the client stakeholders and data and analytics delivery teams

• Experience with Data modernization, Data migrations and greenfield data platform implementations

• A very strong SQL/data analysis background, experience with Audit Controls, ELT framework (Batch and Real TIME).

• Create Point of views and Proof of Concept solutions for new technologies/complex implementations

Key skills & knowledge:

• Expertise in data architecture and design, for both structured and unstructured data

• Expertise in data modeling

• Expertise with all aspects of data management: data governance, data mastering, meta-data management, data taxonomies and ontologies

• Expertise in architecting and delivering highly-scalable and flexible, cost effective, cloud-based enterprise data solutions

• Fluency in cloud based data storage and analytics offerings

• Fluent understanding of data security and compliance requirements

• Fluency architecting and documenting architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)

• Understanding of Solutions Architecture methodology and practices

• Ability to develop and lead proof-of-concepts

• Focused on delivering practical, working solutions

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships in a matrixed organizational structure

• Strong leadership skills

• Ability to "influence without authority"

• Strong consensus-building ability and negotiating skills

• Strong communication and executive presentation skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate well to both technical and business audiences
