How Will You Make an Impact?

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to develop high-quality user documentation, animations, and videos that significantly enhance the customer experience. By working closely with fellow team members to discuss, plan, and implement documentation-focused projects, you will support a range of organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain user documentation to facilitate the use of our products and services.

  • Research and write hardware and software documentation for analytical instruments, including liquid, gas, or ion chromatographs, and mass spectrometer.

  • Create new animations and update existing ones to explain workflows, installation, and maintenance procedures.

  • Work closely with scientists, engineers, product evaluation teams, project managers, and product managers in a scientific environment to capture information and ensure accuracy.

  • Participate in initiatives to improve the documentation process.

  • Participate in peer reviews of user documentation.

  • Develop documentation plan and write topic-based reusable content.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in technical communication, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with an emphasis on technical documentation, or equivalent years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 7+ years as a technical writer.

  • Experience in writing topic-based content for software and hardware installation, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting, and training materials, including standard operating procedures, manuals, or Help systems.

  • Familiarity with Darwin Information Type Architecture (DITA)-based CCMS and authoring tools.

  • Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills and excellent English writing abilities.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with screen-capture software and video production tools such as Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, or Final Cut Pro.

  • Experience with mass spectrometry and chromatography instruments

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide writing samples and take a test on camera or at our office
