Staff Product Manager, SaaS Data Protection

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Staff Product Manager with a track record of driving new product capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market leadership. As part of the SaaS Data Protection team, you will guide the strategy and execution of data protection for key SaaS workloads. This is an exciting opportunity as we rapidly expand support for new SaaS applications! You will be responsible for building and scaling solutions for apps like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics.

We are looking for candidates with experience in shipping enterprise-grade SaaS products and an understanding of the Backup & Recovery space. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to deliver industry-leading data management solutions. As advocates for both our customers and our business, you will balance diverse perspectives and lead cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for data backup and recovery for various SaaS workloads (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Teams).

  • Collaborate with engineering, support, design, and marketing teams to plan, build, and launch high-quality product experiences.

  • Write PRDs, manage project execution, and define product roll-out strategies.

  • Analyze customer usage patterns to identify new product opportunities.

  • Develop, manage, and communicate the product roadmap to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Perform market and competitive analysis, prioritize features, and articulate decisions and trade-offs.

  • Represent your product in customer engagements, both pre- and post-sales.

  • Identify and establish key technology and sales partnerships.

Experience You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product leadership with strong skills in planning, communication, organization, and influencing cross-functional teams.

  • 10+ years of overall work experience.

  • Prior experience in administering and/or developing solutions within the Data Backup & Recovery domain.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to build business cases, create professional presentations, communicate effectively, and measure success.

  • Self-motivation to achieve and measure goals.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both clients and internal teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
