Fortive Corporation Sr. Manager - Cloud-Hosting in Bangalore, India

The role of the Sr. Manager Cloud Hosting is to ensure that value is achieved as anticipated from the services within their area/domain of responsibility. The includes numerous resources: Servers (Windows, Linux), Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI), Databases (Oracle, MS SQL), Middleware (Apache Tomcat, IIS), Backups (Veeam, Cloud Ranger, Druva, Data Protector), NAS (NetApp, Cohesity), SAN (3PAR, Alletra), Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, VMWare (on-prem)), Server Hardware (IBM, HPE, Dell), Hypervisors (VMWare), Active Directory, Patching (Desktop Central).

· This may include the management of outsourced relationships under management. In particular, he/she ensures that the overall services are delivered as expressed in the Statement of Work and related exhibits, that the service levels for outsourced services/functions are maintained and continually improved, and that any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the Provider are minimized.

· Sr. Manager Cloud Hosting monitors and ensures the compliance of performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA). This includes performing regular performance reviews, monitoring service level and service management issues, and developing new/amended SLAs and metrics as needed. Furthermore, this position oversees planning and forecasting of outsourced service consumption and the changes or new needs or requirements of the service.

· Sr. Manager Cloud Hosting is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction with the IT services delivered.

· Sr. Manager Cloud Hosting is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service quality, closely liaising with other roles, domain architects, process owner and application portfolio manager who use the services to ensure stakeholder needs are met across the lifecycle of the service. This includes the future state, strategy and roadmap for the service.

Requirements :

· Acts as a Tower interface between other Fortive IT Infrastructure leaders, all other IT towers and departments and the Service Provider.

· Continually ensure Platform and Hosting resources comply with Fortive IT Cybersecurity standards (e.g. patching, configuration, Security Operations tools (e.g logging).

· Partner with other opco leaders and the Life Cycle Management Program to eliminate Technical Debt.

· Work with Internal Audit and Fortive IAM team during all audits (e.g. SOX); providing Quarterly Access Reviews for in-scope systems.

· Participate in M&A and divestiture activities as required.

· Ensure environment is accurately managed in other IT tools such as ServiceNow CMDB and Solarwinds Monitoring.

· Interface with opco Trade Compliance departments to ensure compliance with local Export Control requirements.

· Works in collaboration with the service provider to continuously improve the service and performance; ensuring Standard Work is followed and regularly reviewed / improved.

· Assist the Problem Resolution process to determine Root Cause of Major Incidents and help identify countermeasures to eliminate future incidents.

· Works across the environment to ensure that stakeholder’s needs are satisfied by the service and the service performance.

· Manages performance reporting in a sourced environment and monitoring the compliance of the Service Provider against Services Agreement Service Level Agreements (SLA). This includes regular performance reporting, monitoring service level infractions and developing new SLAs and metrics as needed. In particular, to ensure that service levels for outsourced services/functions are maintained and continually improved, and that any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the Service Provider are minimized.

· Oversees planning and forecasting of service consumption, quality of service and customer satisfaction.

· Acts as the front line to the Service Provider’s staff for the functional area (tower or domain) he or she represents.

· This key leadership position is responsible for leading the development of effective management level relationships to ensure the two-way flow of information regarding strategies, priorities and issues.

· Responsible for ensuring the highest level of service availability and efficiency as benchmarked against industry standards and consistent with enterprise goals and constraints. Manage relationship with Service Provider to ensure the effective delivery of services to Fortive executives and employees.

· Conduct regular service reviews; manage and audit Service Provider performance and productivity relative to Service Level Agreements.

· Establish operational metrics and performance reporting; track (internal and external) Service Provider performance and ensure end-to-end viability of service levels.

· Communicate important policy changes that affect operations to Service Provider and/or Fortive.

· Work with the Service Provider to progress the goals and objectives of agreements.

· Work with Demand Management and facilitate prioritization of work in alignment with the business and Service Provider response to demand.

· Forecast Fortive demand for all in-scope and new services. Coordinate services, projects, and plans to ensure priorities are addressed appropriately.

· Ensure the appropriate implementation of Transition and Transformation initiatives.

· Resolve conflicts between Fortive and Service Provider.

· Educate Fortive and Service Provider on program/product/operational details, including the development and implementation of Service Provider processing schedules and coordination of data flow ensuring timely transmittal to Service Provider.

· As all other duty applies.

Qualifications :

· Hands-on knowledge of design & deploying of windows servers/ Active Directory etc

· Hands-on knowledge in Patch management & Vulnerability management

· Expertise in Server sizing both in Legacy and cloud

· Provide technical guidance to the Operations Team

· Participate in POC before any critical deployments.

· Demonstrate technical leadership in Cloud space.

· Design the cloud environment and participate in the journey to cloud.

· Compliance management

Target :

· Technical Manager for Server & Storage In any Service company or in Big Captives. He will be having a team managing the Server, Cloud and storage and he will be doing technical reviews etc

· 14+ years of experience
