Who are we:

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Cisco's Unified Computing Systems (UCS) team working in Cisco's Data Center space. The Cisco UCS Rack Server is a compact, high-density server optimized for performance and efficiency, making it suitable for various applications such as virtualization and bare-metal workloads. This server can function as a standalone unit managed by Cisco Intersight or UCS Manager, to demonstrate the full range of Cisco's unified computing benefits and improve business agility.

Who You'll Work With

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work Utilities software engineering team of UCS Servers, Bangalore, which is a key part of Cisco’s datacenter strategy. We are looking for applicant who strive in a multifaceted start-up like environment. You will be working with a team where open communications, empowerment, innovation, partnership and customer success are the foundations of the team.

Who You Are

We are seeking a Software engineer with 5+ Years of proven experience to chip in to our automation project.

• Good experience in Python Automation framework, REST API and object-oriented programming.

• You need to be familiar with the software development process and all of its phases including analysis, design, coding and good test automation background

What Will You Do

• We Design, develop, and implement automation suite in Python, ensuring dedication and compliance with requirements.

• We look for good exposure to x86 server architecture and data center domains

• We Develop and maintain scripts for validation of RESTful APIs and other interfaces for Cisco UCS x86 based servers.

• We apply object-oriented programming techniques to build modular and scalable code.

• We work with multi-functional teams to develop and launch new features, know the latest with industry trends and technologies, maintain and enhance existing systems, and improve internal coding standards and Validated techniques

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with management software such as Cisco Intersight is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Working experience with any test automation framework to develop scripts

• Familiarity with concepts like Redfish, SNMP, IPMI, certificate management, LDAP, sensors, basics of networking and storage

• Strong communication and interpersonal sills.

• Proven record to work optimally in a team environment.

• Positive attitude and a dedication to professional growth
