We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Office Platform team, for building our Outlook Extensibility Products. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that works on cutting-edge technologies and delivers innovative solutions that empower millions of developers around the world. You will design and develop high quality, resilient and easily maintainable software that enhances developer experience and drives business value.

  • Designing and developing high quality, resilient and easily maintainable software.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional disciplines to drive design, development, testing, and release of software that enhances customer experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • React, Redux, TypeScript, Javascript, CSS, Entity Framework.

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum.

  • Strong design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • High potential to grow and evolve

  • Team player, confident, and enthusiastic

  • Self-learner with passion for technologies.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

  • OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,

  • OR Python

  • 3+ years of experience in web development.
