• What You'll Do

You will work with Cisco Unified Identity team. We deliver the best common identity platform experience to our outstanding customers using cisco products across Networking, Security and Collaboration. You will work on innovative microservices based cloud software in a multifaceted and agile environment. As an Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in crafting outstanding user experiences for our products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize frontend solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

You'll participate in the entire product life cycle including: requirement analysis, architecture design, code implementation, functional and performance and end to end testing, deployment and support. Working with a small scrum team, you'll utilize agile development practices.

You'll be collaborating with a team of expert and dedicated Frontend developers and cloud/web technology architects from around the world. The team is an outstanding mix of engineers/architects from a promising cloud-based start-up acquired by Cisco and seasoned engineers that worked in Cisco cloud software for years.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software development experience with Java & Springboot.

• Familiar with Javascript / Typescript frameworks like Angular, React etc

• Integration of various RESTful APIs

• Have experience with Maven, GIT, CI/CD pipeline, REST API, Agile development methodologies

• Experience in Debugging, Trace and fixing End to End issues.

• Strong understanding of web performance, cross-browser compatibility, and adaptable design.

• Skilled at state management, hooks, and component lifecycle.

• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming and RESTful API integration.

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).

• Must demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of server-side rendering and performance optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of Micro-frontend Architecture

• Knowledge about Authentication / Authorization (OAuth2), OpenID-Connect is a plus

• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
