Your role and responsibilities
Role Overview:
Manage the end-to-end offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for separated employees while maintaining compliance with regional legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue necessary documentation to separated employees in German and assist with employee and manager queries in German.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a timely and seamless exit process.
Continuously review and improve processes in line with ESA principles (Eliminate, Automate, and Simplify).
Communicate professionally, positively, and transparently with internal and external stakeholders.
Handle confidential information with appropriate sensitivity and discretion.
Identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve process-related issues to enhance employee experience.
Monitor and process tickets in the ticketing system, resolving and closing escalated cases.
Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation is prepared in advance.
Collaborate on final pay inputs with the payroll team and ensure timely full and final settlements as per regional legal deadlines.
Contribute to internal reporting, dashboard metrics, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Stay updated on employment laws and best practices related to offboarding.
Participate in other HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required technical and professional expertise
Business fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential - must provide a German language certification.
2-3 years of experience in HR operations, with a growth mindset and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Understanding of regional payroll processes and proficiency in HR software/tools (preferred).
Strong business email writing skills.
Willingness to work on weekends when required for critical projects.
