Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for E2E testing.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
DevOps Integration:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process to ensure continuous testing.
Work closely with DevOps engineers to streamline deployment processes.
Monitor and analyze test results, and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Communicate testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Process Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging QA methodologies and technologies.
Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Proven experience with Cypress for automated E2E testing.
Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD tools.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
Familiarity with AWS.
Experience with other testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in software testing or DevOps methodologies.
Experience with performance and load testing tools.
Understanding of microservices architecture and testing.
