Job Track Description:

Role: Microsoft Technical Architect

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to define application, technical, and non-functional requirements.

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ETL, web service integration, reporting solutions, client hosting, and compliance regulatory setup during implementation.

  • Conduct architectural assessments to ensure adherence to enterprise standards in technology selection, middleware, protocols, design patterns, and documentation.

  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, information security, integration, performance, quality, and operations.

  • Develop and deploy .NET applications on cloud environments like Azure.

  • Architect and own solutions for complex problem statements, leveraging enterprise products for client integration.

  • Define and implement tools for quick integration solutions using product features.

  • Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilots where solution definitions need formalization.

  • Participate in technology selection to solve business problems and create business cases for adopting new technology streams with defined ROI.

  • Engage in peer review discussions on design and solution fitments.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technology integration and performance issues, analyzing solutions based on overall system architecture.

  • Guide technical teams in building solutions based on established design patterns and frameworks.

  • Collaborate continuously with development and deployment teams to transition knowledge and review deliverables throughout the SDLC.

  • Identify and mentor fast learners for career growth.

  • Apply Agile principles and concepts to deliver implementation projects.

  • Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet regulatory compliance requirements for HITRUST and SOC.

  • Define SDLC processes with the help of the DevOps team.

  • Interact with Infrastructure and Solution Architects from both product and client sides to build/host environments.

  • Provide input on final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and information security.

  • Act as a liaison to build resilient hosting environments for clients.

  • Understand infrastructure builds (Windows cluster, DFS), networking (load balancing, network setup, firewall configuration, IDS systems), and hosting operating controls (vulnerability scans, penetration testing, SAST, DAST).

  • Provide technical guidance to RFP and sales process teams.

Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Knowledge of the US Healthcare Industry is an advantage but not mandatory

  • Extensive knowledge of the MS Applications Stack – .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, SharePoint, React JS/Redux.

  • Proficient in Windows/Linux infrastructure, including load balancers and firewalls for deployment/debugging.

  • Proficient in Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.

  • Proficient in non-functional requirements, including performance, security, 508 compliance, vulnerability, penetration testing, and industry-standard compliance (HITRUST, HIPAA, OWASP, SOC, SSAE16).

  • Knowledgeable about ITIL processes.

  • MS Cloud Certified Architect.

  • TOGAF certification

  • 15+ years of strong industry experience focusing on Microsoft technologies.

  • Invested in industry certifications for self-learning.

  • Expert knowledge of working on MS Azure.

  • Open to learning, investing in, and adopting newer technologies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.

  • Act as a thought leader, proactively identifying business challenges and recommending technical solutions.

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and API documentation.

  • Ensure all technical documentation is kept up to date with evolving system changes.

  • Strong knowledge of architecture patterns such as microservices, SOA, and serverless computing.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable parts and deliver creative, practical solutions.

  • Proficient in RESTful API design, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud-native architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
