As a Senior Mainframe Developer (Team Lead) - Code Analysis and Training, you will leverage your deep understanding of mainframe systems to train AI models, enabling them to analyze, explain, and transform mainframe programming languages. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to transition into AI by applying your existing skills to build next-generation tools for mainframe modernization.
Your work will directly contribute to developing Large Language Models (LLMs) that help enterprises modernize their legacy systems, bridging the gap between the trusted reliability of mainframes and the dynamic capabilities of generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and refine datasets for training LLMs on analyzing mainframe code, especially HLASM.
Apply your mainframe expertise to code analysis, enabling AI models to generate accurate, meaningful outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate AI-driven solutions for code transformation and explanation tasks.
Develop best practices and guidelines that can be used across the team.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Partner with product managers and stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and drive significant improvements.

Strong expertise in HLASM programming.
