Job Title:

Senior Lead Engineer (P3)

Overview:

In this role the Senior Lead Engineer (Power and Control Systems) independently own different phase of Hardware Development cycle of Airborne Electronic Hardware development. A ctively participate in testing, build and design the Automated Test equipment and Laboratory test equipment project. Also perform the product integration testing with test equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Strong Academic background with knowledge of Power and Controls products

· Hands on experience on Lab instrument (Power supply, DMM, scope etc)

· Understand the complex schematic of ATE (Automate test equipment)

· Drive the activity of product (HW& SW) integration with test systems

· Basic knowledge of LabVIEW and test stand software tools

· Coordinate with Lab team to plan the product testing and DO160 certification

· Lead the build to print test equipment activities

· Coordinate/Manage suppliers for test equipment build

· Independently communicate with SBU, work for LAB and test equipment movement

· Good knowledge of VISIO electrical toolbox to draw and design the schematic

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering

• Minimum 8-year experience in hardware/test equipment testing and integration activity

• Experience in Aerospace Products, DO-160 requirements & DO-254 Process are added advantages

• Ability to understand & derive requirements of power electronic circuits, power supply modules and/or components.

• Experience in Electrical CAD tools (Pspice, Allegro, LTspice, Mathcad, Matlab-Simulink)

• Ability to define the electrical specification of components to meet the design requirements

• Experience in schematic diagram preparation

• Very good understanding of the PCB layout & fabrication process

• Very good understanding about the Through Hole and SMD board assembly process

• Hands on experience in board bring up

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in DO254 and DO160 Certification process by supporting SOI 1 to SOI 4

• Experience in module/sub-system/system level test plan & test procedure preparation, execution & test report preparation

• Aerospace domain

• Test system Design

• Electrical and Lab view understanding

• Testing as per D0160F

• Harness design
