Your Career

Palo Alto Networks Financial Services (PANFS) was formed in 2020 to support and offer financial solutions for qualified customers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high growth organisation within the Company, leveraging prior experience and knowledge to grow and expand the organisation's contributions and capabilities

The PANFS Finance team is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. As the central planning group for the PANFS Organisation, this team plays a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimising financial outcomes. Reporting to the Sr Finance Manager, PANFS, the Sr. Financial Analyst will join a team responsible for the overall financial processes and consolidation of key business results across PANFS. This role will be based at our PANW Bangalore office

Your Impact

  • Work with PANFS executives and Finance leaders as a strategic partner to deeply understand long-term business objectives and uncover opportunities to accelerate growth and drive efficiencies

  • Gather, consolidate, and analyse operating and financial results, including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables and analysing and explaining trends & drivers

  • Partner across FP&A to continuously improve processes and tools to drive scale

  • Lead projects to transform the business and drive efficiencies in PANFS process and tools

  • Work with PANFS operations to ensure deal database is complete and accurate

  • Design, build, manage and share tableau dashboard reports to run the business - Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly

  • Provide an outstanding level of service to our customers, both internal and external

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Economics. MBA and/or CFA a plus or equivalent military experience

  • 4+years experience of working with FP&A

  • 4+ years experience with business and financial modelling

  • Quantitative analytical skill-set with experience modelling, reporting and visualisation of large data sets (Advanced Excel skills, GCP, SQL, Tableau, etc)

  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships at all levels, collaborative with a highly professional demeanour

  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, SFDC, Tableau and SAP

  • Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure

  • Work effectively across multiple geos, and as a team player in a collaborative environment, with peers and members of the greater organisation

  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement analysis

  • Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure

  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, goals and results driven environment

Palo Alto Networks Financial Services reports into Treasury which is part of the very talented finance organisation within Palo Alto Networks, Inc.
