Job Title: Analytics Specialist – Supply & Logistics Procurement

Job Overview: The Analytics Specialist in Supply & Logistics Procurement will support the procurement team by analyzing supply chain data, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring cost-efficient purchasing strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of procurement and logistics, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive efficiencies and cost savings across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement and logistics data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the supply chain.

  • Process Optimization: Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to identify inefficiencies in logistics operations and develop strategies for improvement.

  • Supplier Performance Evaluation: Evaluate suppliers based on performance metrics, cost, delivery times, and quality, providing actionable insights to optimize supplier relationships.

  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management through data-driven analysis and strategic sourcing techniques.

  • Execute periodic Reverse Auctions : to get the optimal pricing on all the inbound & outbound lanes.

  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports and dashboards on procurement and logistics performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders including PPT for MoR etc.

  • Risk Management: Monitor and analyze supply chain risks, including disruptions, supplier issues, and market volatility, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various teams (operations, finance, logistics, etc.) to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.

  • Technology Utilization: Leverage analytics software, ERP systems, and other tools to enhance the procurement process and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Proven experience in analytics, procurement, supply chain management, or logistics.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis & RA tools tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Ariba).

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and logistics optimization strategies.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and cost efficiency.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with ERP systems or supply chain management software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of global supply chain trends and challenges.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
