What Youll Do

As a Senior Developer, you will be working to build key features for Service functionalities . You will identify the appropriate solution design and implement the solution together with your team members You will work in an agile cross-functional scrum engineering team of open-minded dedicated experts, collaborate with various stakeholders like customers, product managers or other teams across locations. You will have the opportunity to cover all stages and tasks within the complete software development lifecycle from design, coding, testing to quality assurance of complex product features in an international, cross-cultural environment.

You will focus on the following tasks:

• Deliver complex functional backlog items for S/4HANA Service

• Define and architect design of the new feature

• Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code

• Continuously improve the development efficiency

• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions

• Deliver on time with high quality

• Willingness and ability to learn new subjects such as business processes quickly

• Guide/Mentor young team members

What You Bring

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related fields

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software development (ABAP).

• Highly proficient in ABAP and UI5/Fiori skills, CDS views and Odata

• Experience in CRM, One Order Framework and CRM framework and technologies will be plus

• Experience in SAP ERP, PM area will be plus

• Open-minded personality, team player-mentality and self-motivated person

• Good knowledge of agile development methodologies specifically Scrum

• Knowledge about SAP product standards, cloud qualities, development guidelines in the development environment

ABOUT THE TEAM/LOB

Our diverse team of Service Management across multiple technologies like ABAP , ODATA and CDS. Every member is empowered to drive key topics in the team. It is an extremely passionate team with the principle of one team.

Our business unit is investing in a strategic solution called Service Management for SAPs flagship product SAP S/4HANA (on premise and cloud). The new service solution will tap into the hugely lucrative market of Software as a Service business. The solution is also positioned as the go-to solution in S/4HANA for our 12,000 customer base of ERP Solution - Customer Service and Plant Maintenance (CS and PM). This opportunity is in a project to migrate key features of CS and PM into Service Management.
