Position Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to drive our analytics services sales. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of selling complex analytics solutions. As an individual contributor, you will be directly responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of our analytics offerings.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold outreach.

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the analytics market, trends, and competitors.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets.

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.

  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business challenges and presenting customized analytics solutions.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to clients on leveraging analytics for business growth.

  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of services.

  • Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline growth, win rates, and revenue.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and updates to senior management.

  • Continuously analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Recent 7+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on analytics services, data solutions, or technology consulting.

  • 15+ Years of overall sales experience

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of analytics solutions, including data analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML technologies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
