Diageo Program Manager-GPO Process Model Practice(BPM) in Bangalore, India

Job Description :

Job Title: Global Process Owner (GPO) Capability & Program Manager

Role type: Full Time | Level: L4C

Reports To: Level 4 GPO Model Lead

CONTEXT

Diageo is undertaking an ambitious transformation journey and as part this moving to a more process driven organisation. This ambition has caused us to rethink our relationship with processes and data and develop a new Global Process Ownership Model led by Global Process Execs (GPEs) and Owners (GPOs) across key domains within our new business process taxonomy. A Global Process Model references ‘how’ an organization runs its business (the processes its people execute) to achieve its strategic goals (the ‘what’) and its vision (the ‘why’). Adopting this model enable Diageo to cut across functional silos through end-to-end business process creation, improve business performance through clear, standardised and optimised operations and KPIs, and operate with greater speed and agility through clear process ownership that enables faster decision making.

This roles will be a critical enabler to our long term success, ensuring the GPO Model is consistency established and embedded across Diageo, in turn ensuring processes are owned, cohesive, standardised where possible and leverage the best thinking within CPG to help Diageo win differently in the market. As well as embedding the GPO Model into the wider Diageo organisation, including aligning on common ways of working and decision rights between GPOs and key functions (such as the Technology Function). The second dimension to this role will be to own the program management for bringing Diageo on this journey, including supporting the set up and ongoing implementation of Diageo’s Global Process Council to support driving cross Level 1 Process connection.
