Position Overview

Data Platform team is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and passionate Product Manager to help create and drive the Product Vision and development of our analytics and personalization for our portfolio products.

The right candidate is data-driven, highly motivated to delight the end user, and has a track record of identifying user challenges and turning them into business opportunities. You will be accountable for solving customer problems and radically transforming our customers’ ability to get their job done.

You will be responsible for driving a suite of reporting solutions, understanding business and data, identifying product improvement opportunities, generating hypothesis for A/B testing, conducting tests by partnering with engineering teams, and driving product led growth flywheel using data.

Your distributed team will rely on you to align product goals and business needs, maintain the roadmap and make day-to-day priority and design decisions. You will work closely with product management, engineering and design to bring products/features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for GoTo. You will document project objectives, write user stories, define success criteria and iterate on solutions to meet the expectations of the business and our customers. You will be expected to help evolve strategies to gain a deep understanding of current and future customer needs to effectively guide your team’s decisions and efforts.

*Your Day to Day  *

  • Understand business needs and create reporting solutions

  • Identifying product improvement opportunities

  • Generating hypothesis for A/B testing, conducting tests by partnering with engineering teams

  • Author feature spec documents for engineering to ensure clear understanding of expected deliverables.

  • Work closely with engineering to form strong trio that plans, designs and develops excellent product offerings

  • Set the agenda, Own and manage backlogs & prioritization

  • Participate in product roadmap planning and reviews, release planning, demos

  • Form and maintain authentic and trustworthy relationships with Business stakeholders, Product Marketing, Engineering , engineers, and cross functional teams.

  • Collaborate with teams in other offices and time zones, both synchronously and asynchronously in a writing-oriented culture.

  • Become the SME for your product.

  • Be a clear, effective and active communicator fostering a true team environment where sharing ideas and plans with stakeholders.

  • Actively inspects usage and other metrics to make data driven decisions to influence direction and roadmap. Create and maintains dashboards.

  • Actively Seeks and incorporates customer feedback through different channels and develop deep empathy for customer problems.

  • Stay up to date with competing products and services, and adjacent technologies to maintain relevance and leadership in the marketplace.

*What We’re Looking For *

  • 2+ years of related industry experience in a product management role in high tech or software -- SAAS experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience handling data-intensive and complex projects

  • Ability to read and understand SQL code that analysts write

  • A move-fast mindset, constantly challenging what’s possible. And a track record of delivering high-impact releases with extremely lean teams in very short time.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines without constant supervision.
