Job Title:

Principle Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Experience in creating wireless software architecture on various hardware platforms, from scratch.

Ability to create robust software desgins based on requriements.

Wireless communication protocol design, development, and testing Embedded application development using wireless communication protocols: IEEE.802.15.4, 802.11, Zigbee, Bluetooth, BLE, LORA, LTE, 5G. etc. IoT based applications development and integration with Cloud Communication network analysis, N/W algorithm design and implementation, Network modeling and simulation Model based design of communication, signal processing and networking algorithms Knowledge of PHY, MAC layers and IP protocol suites and performance analysis Proficiency in Linux and RTOS based embedded software development Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink Knowledge of FPGA programming and baseband signal processing algorithms is desirable Familiarity with ARP 4754, ARP 4761, DO-178C and other Aerospace standards is desirable

Project Execution

Coordinate and facilitate the development and evaluation of wireless based systema and applications ensuring work is completed on time and established quality and budgets are Support Design review, Quality Audits, PDRs, CDRs and NARs. Capture and reduce

• Product / Process Capability development

  Propose new ideas for research, technology development and product improvement. Participate in competency development planning. Support technology projects relevant to the domain of expertise. Participate in submission of invention disclosures and technical papers. Develop SW/ SJI/SPI to reduce escapes and improve OTD. Support Technical RRCAs. Implement Level 1 mistake proofing (as applicable). Support re-use of Engg. Tools from organization tools repository. Support Productivity savings per plan. Support to improve and sustain process maturity.

  Coaching and Mentoring

  Coach and review the work of lower level professionals. Conduct technical trainings in the respective domain of expertise.

  Basic Qualifications:

  BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication engineering or equivalent.
