Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manager Information Technology ( Cybersecurity) to join our India CoE-Integration & Engg -CAT IT division.

The incumbent would be responsible for overseeing the relationship and performance of the organization's third-party vendors and service providers. This includes managing the vendor selection process, contract negotiation, ongoing review of vendor compliance, and optimization of vendor relationships. This role also requires cybersecurity expertise, the Vendor Management Specialist should have a general understanding of information security risks and practices.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield office.

What you will do

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, facilitating communication and addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Manage the vendor selection and onboarding process, including RFP development, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.

  • Establish and maintain vendor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor vendor performance.

  • Analyze vendor performance data and identify opportunities to optimize costs, service levels, and risk mitigation.

  • Maintain a vendor management policy and related processes to govern the lifecycle of third-party relationships.

  • Provide reporting and recommendations to management on the overall health of the vendor portfolio.

What you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

  • 8-10 years of experience in vendor or contract management

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

  • Basic understanding of Information Security principles and practices

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities

  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a vendor risk management program

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)

  • Certification in vendor management or contract administration

  • Ready to work in shift: 01:00-10:00PM IST (EMEA Shift)

Skills desired:

Core Application Systems : Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.

Level Extensive Experience:

• Manages application-related issues, implications, and approaches with clients.

• Evaluates key interfaces and interdependencies among core applications systems.

• Explains features and benefits of core applications for consideration by business units.

• Implements existing and planned application enhancements in major business units.

• Tracks data flow between own applications and core applications in other business areas.

• Plans enhancement, conversion, and retirement strategies for core applications.

Information Technology Trends: Knowledge of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the organization's use of Information Technology (IT); ability to apply knowledge of IT appropriately to benefit the organization.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Discusses existing and planned IT technologies relevant to own function.

• Participates in at least one major IT initiative within own function.

• Discusses several pertinent technology trends.

• Reviews organization's recent experience in introducing new technologies.

• Seeks the appropriate experts to obtain information or ask questions.

Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.

• Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.

• Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns.

• Identifies the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand.

• Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions.
