Purpose of Role

The Global Apps Governance CoE focus is to simplify, standardize and streamline all process across the COEs. The team also focuses on handling the project demands coming into COEs. We continue to evolve our delivery operating model whilst extending our processes into other areas and applications. We have continued to focus on reducing cost and improving quality whilst minimising delivery risk, improving speed and providing complete visibility. This role has Global reach and reports into the Global Apps Governance Manager while collaborating with the Business Relationship Management teams, Enterprise Operations teams, dedicated external IS service providers and Support teams to deliver and embed ‘outstanding’ solutions. The specialist will work with Diageo PMs, BAs, BPs and Super users as well as the internal CoE teams who supply design, build and test capabilities. They will also be involved in re-designing/streamlining processes across CoEs as needed – processes could be resource process or finance process or ITSM processes followed by the CoE teams. An eye for continuous improvement is crucial for this role. The specialist will ensure the Global Apps Governance COE deliver the change at the right cost, with the right quality and the right service.

Responsibilities

The key accountabilities of the role are as below –

  1. Delivery of Global Apps Governance CoE service to the projects

  2. Monitor and report on the performance of projects and other key operational metrics across COEs

  3. Handle issues and risks and raise appropriately

  4. Support the resourcing and finance process across CoEs by working closely with Vendor Management, Resource Management, Finance and Procurement team

  5. Look to drive continuous improvement within the Governance CoE process

  6. Work with the SIAM team to ensure ITSM processes is setup and adhered to by the COEs.

We are looking for a candidate with university/college degree with 8-12 years of experience in IT Project management and ITSM processes. A strong work experience in Change and Incident process is a must. Expertise in Issue management, vendor management, internal and external customer management is required. An ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory. Should be flexible working for various time zones as per the business criticality.
