Principal duties and Essential responsibilities:

• Very good understanding of the public cloud ecosystem (AWS/Azure/GCP), Micro services and Modern DevOps practices. Along with effectively handling product SLA and customer issues, infrastructure and Cloud Cost management and optimization

• Build, configure, scale and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and other DevOps tools.

• Expert in develop and deploy the continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD) practices using tools like Harness, Jenkins, Github

• Expert in design, build, and optimize applications containerization and orchestration with Docker, Quay, Helm and OKD/Kubernetes

• Should understand security best practices. Experience with security hardening of application and Infrastructure against vulnerabilities.

• Experience with Observability tools and processes. Expertise in tools like Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus

• Hands on experience with scripting languages like Python, Go, Shell

• Ability to mentor DevOps engineers, help with team efficiencies and solve complex problems, along with ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8-12 Overall years’ experience in DevOps and Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, Containerization, Kubernetes, scripting languages, DevOps tools and processes

• Very good Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to mentor team members, work effectively with stake holders across the globe

Specific Qualifications and Accreditations

• A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Azure/AWS/Kubernetes cloud certifications
