SAP Frontend Developer - UI5/JavaScript (2 to 7 years) in Bangalore, India

What youll do

  • Play the role of a Developer with superior technical leadership & communication skills.

  • Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop state of the art software applications in S/4HANA cloud and on-premise

  • Ability to translate a complex business requirement into a realizable technical requirement.

  • Work closely with Architect, Product Owner and other stakeholders to drive design and code reviews.

  • Author and review design and technical documentation

  • Apply clean code principles: execute code reviews, code inspections, unit testing, performance measurements and other quality tasks

  • Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way, in-time and in-quality.

  • Ability to be a go-to person in the team and mentor other developers.

What you bring

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in frontend application development.

  • Experience in developing frontends in UI5/ Java Script for complex backend functionalities

  • Experience in developer tools like SAPs WebIDE, Git, Gerrit and Jenkins

  • Understanding/expertise in manufacturing processes, production planning and execution is needed.

  • Also PP and/or PP-PI; know-how in routing would be an advantage.

  • Experience with test automation tools like START, OPA5 and/or SOAPUI is beneficial

  • Experience in design thinking, agile and test-driven development as well as in scrum methodology is preferred

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas in a structured way.

  • Flexibility and openness for new challenges and tasks

  • Ability to work with virtual and distributed teams.

  • Quick learner, open and ready to be cross skilled to any technologies as per the need of the business.

  • Strong educational qualifications (Bachelors degree in Engineering or MCA from reputed institutes)

The project S/4HANA Manufacturing for Production Engineering and Operations (PEO) combines engineering (PLM) and manufacturing (routing, production planning and manufacturing execution) features. Therefore, it spans multiple organizations (S/4 Produce, IoT Digital Manufacturing, Custom Development, Partner) and various locations (Germany, India, US).
